Candaping NHS shines at Pasigarbo 2023 Awards Night

Candaping National High School proudly stood out as it achieved multiple awards during the recent Pasigarbo Awards Night of the DepEd Division of Siquijor for the year 2022 and 2023. The event took place on October 12, 2023, at Dugokanan, Pulangyuta, Siquijor. The school's exceptional programs and dedicated educators were duly recognized for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

The Pasigarbo Awards Night is an annual event organized by the Department of Education (DepEd) in Siquijor, aims to honor exceptional schools and individuals who have made significant contributions to the local education system. The outstanding achievements of Candaping National High School were widely acknowledged and celebrated by the education community, showcasing the school’s steadfast pursuit of excellence across various categories.

At the awards night, the school's faculty members were honored for their outstanding contributions to education. Among the esteemed winners of the 2023 who were recognized as the Most Outstanding Implementers in their respective programs.

Notably, Division Awardees, such as Mr. Reynaldo M. Santos, recognized as the Most Outstanding Secondary School Head, and Candaping National High School as the Most Outstanding Large Secondary School, have advanced to the search for the 2022 DepEd Region VII Pasidungog Awardees.

The 2022 Pasigarbo Awards Night celebrated the achievements of the Most Outstanding Program Implementers, including Ms.Angelica Mariae T. Tan-awon was awarded the title of Most Outstanding Adopt A School Implementer Secondary. Mrs. Nancy Bonachita received the recognition for being the Most Outstanding Brigada Eskwela implementer. Mrs. Roxanne Mae L. Pal-ing was honored as the Most Outstanding Child-Friendly implementer. Ms. Desiree L. Andilab was recognized as the Most Outstanding Continuous Improvement implementer. Mr. Neolito Manginsay and Mr. Ronie Mabayambang were jointly awarded the title of Most Outstanding DRRM Secondary implementers.

 

Most Outstanding Personnel and Program Implementers were Mr. Ronie B. Mabayambang, who received the prestigious Superintendent's Award. Mrs. Roxanne Mae L. Pal-ing is recognized as the Most Outstanding AP Teacher, while Ms. Melody Ann O. Aso was honored as the Most Outstanding MAPEH Teacher. Mr. Michael L. Mahinay was bestowed with the title of Most Outstanding EsP Teacher, and Mrs. Karen A. Casalta was recognized as the Most Outstanding Senior High Teacher. Mrs. Pal-ing's exceptional commitment to creating a child-friendly learning environment earned her the distinction of being the Most Outstanding Child-Friendly Implementer, while Mrs. Nancy Bonachita's efforts in fostering community involvement through the Brigada Eskwela program were also recognized with an award.

The awards also acknowledged individuals who excelled in various program implementations, including Ms. Angelica Mariae T. Tan-Awon, Ms. Melody Ann O. Aso, Mr. Shane Jay G. Fabugais, Mr. Neolito Manginsay, and Mr. Ronie Mabayambang, Ms. Rosal Paghasian was named the Most Outstanding Gulayan sa Paaralan implementer. Mr. Shane Jay G. Fabugais was recognized as the Most Outstanding LIS/EBEIS Secondary implementer. Mr. Keneth Glenn D. Lagare was awarded the title of Most Outstanding SGC implementer. Mrs. Mera M. Tuangco received the recognition for being the Most Outstanding SMEA-Secondary implementer. Mr. Shane Jay G. Fabugais and Ms. Desiree L. Andilab were jointly awarded the title of Most Outstanding Special Program Implementer Secondary. Ms. Melody Ann O. Aso was honored as the Most Outstanding Culture & Arts implementer.

These exceptional educators and program implementers have demonstrated their unwavering commitment in to providing quality education, setting a shining example for their colleagues, and inspiring their students to reach their full potential. Their dedication to their craft has not only impacted the lives of their students but has also fostered a stronger and more supportive school community.
