Mary Queen Sisters Spread Joy at Candaping National High School

Candaping National High School experienced a heartwarming event when devoted Mary Queen Sisters donated school supplies for students in need. The act of kindness aimed to provide these young individuals with the necessary tools to pursue their education and reach their full potential.

The initiative began on March 8, 2023, when a selection of 51 students from less privileged families were interviewed to identify the most deserving recipients of the generous donations. These students exhibited exceptional determination despite facing financial constraints.

Months after the interviews, the school supplies arrived at Candaping National High School on October 11, 2023, with boxes filled with essential items such as notebooks, papers, folders, pens, pencils, and art supplies.

Moreover, the distribution of school supplies took place on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning after the flag ceremony and was led by Ma'am Maica Vios. The atmosphere of the school was filled with anticipation and excitement as the selected students gathered in the school's covered court for the distribution . Each student received a package of school supplies tailored to their specific needs, along with certificates. The donation ceremony was filled with heartfelt gratitude and appreciation from both the students and faculty  members.

Not all families are financially stable enough to provide their children with the tools they need to excel in school. Donations ensure that all students in the classroom have the basic resources they need to succeed in school. The generous sponsors not only provided the students with much-needed school supplies but also reminded them that they are not alone on their educational journey. As a gesture of gratitude, the students wrote sincere "thank you" letters to their generous sponsors. This program not only provided essential school supplies to these less fortunate students but also instilled newfound hope and determination to shape students' minds.
