Transgender Rights

Transgender is an umbrella term for people whose gender identity, gender expression, or behavior does not correspond to the sex to which they were born. Transgender individuals can identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or none of the above. Overall, they are all human beings like us, but why is it that they are sometimes treated as an abomination? Does being a transgender person makes them a lesser person?

The vast majority of transgender people face discrimination, prejudice, oppression, fear, and shame. Some of them are being harassed and tormented simply for going into the bathroom for the sex with which they identify, rather than creating special bathrooms for them that will make them feel strange for using. Furthermore, they are not protected by those who bullied and harassed them for being who they are, nor are they protected by the violence that they encounter. With this being said, there is an immediate need for a law that protects them.

Transgender rights are important because transgender people face challenges every day. they face many difficulties in life, as well as people who do not accept them. Some of them commit suicide because it’s too much for them and they can’t take it any longer. To protect these vulnerable people from violence, they should be given equal rights.

Transgender people must also have equal rights. They should be treated the same as we are. They too are humans. They have feelings and can be hurt physically, mentally, and emotionally. People should stop bothering and treating them like an abomination. We must accept and respect them for who they are since they are not objects that we can toss and ignore just because we don’t like them
